Rob Zombie releases We’re An American Band lyric video

Rob Zombie has released a lyric video for his cover of the Grand Funk Railroad classic, “We’re An American Band.”

Zombie is asking fans to be a part of the video for his cover of the track, which is featured on his latest album, “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.”

"We want singers, bands, cheerleaders, athletes, hard-working, hard-drinking, hard-rocking people!" Your submission just might end up in a special fan version of the "American Band" video created by Rob Zombie.”

Released in April, “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 34,000.

The rocker worked on the album with producer Bob Marlette; it’s the first release on Rob's new label, Zodiac Swan, through T-Boy Records/UMe.

Zombie is currently on the road headlining the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
