Roger Waters will deliver the keynote address at the 10th annual Billboard Touring Conference, set for November 13-14th at New York’s Roosevelt Hotel.
The two-day conference event features unique programming that informs, educates and provides a forum for all touring-related businesses about the industry's latest opportunities and current challenges.
Billboard reports Waters is currently wrapping up the final European leg of his groundbreaking tour of "The Wall Live", one of the most successful and critically acclaimed tours in history. By the time it wraps this month, "The Wall Live" will be among the Top 5 highest-grossing tours in history.
“Roger Waters is one of the most compelling subjects I’ve ever interviewed, and I am thrilled that he will be our Keynote Q&A at our 10th annual Touring Conference,” says Ray Waddell, Billboard’s executive director of content and programming, touring and live entertainment, who will conduct the interview with Waters. “His impact on music and the live experience is undeniable, but his interests and opinions transcend the music industry.
