VIDEO: Megadeth bassist discusses autobiography

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson discusses his newly-published autobiography, “My Life With Deth”, in the latest video issued by the bassist.

The memoir chronicles the story of Ellefson's fall into addiction during the band's early years, followed by his subsequent recovery and the return to faith which championed the band's rise to fame over the past several decades.

“My Life With Deth” was written with Joel McIver, and features a foreword by Alice Cooper; it also includes contributions from Kerry King (Slayer), Scott Ian (Anthax), Ellefson's current bandmate in Megadeth, Shawn Drover, as well as former colleagues Chris Poland and Marty Friedman.

Ellefson is launching the book with a series of book signings - for a list of dates, click here.

Megadeth have been on the road since the late spring release of their new album, “Super Collider.” The project debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart in June with opening week sales of 29,000 copies.

Megadeth will kick off a full Super Collider US tour on November 23 in St. Paul, MN.; joining them will be openers Fear Factory and Nonpoint.
