Duff McKagan to rejoin Guns N’ Roses for South American tour

Duff McKagan is preparing to rejoin Guns N’ Roses for their South American tour in April while bassist Tommy Stinson steps aside to fulfill commitments with The Replacements.

Duff tweeted a photo of setlists full of GNR tunes (below), writing, “Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil! See y'all in the next few weeks, Si? GNR.”

The 2014 shows will mark the third time McKagan has re-teamed with pal Axl Rose: in October of 2010, he played with GNR for the first time in 14 years during a show in London, and again in December of 2011 for back-to-back dates in Vancouver and Seattle.

Meanwhile, Stinson will play Coachella with The Replacements, including shows on April 11 and April 18.

Thee’s no official word on the timing of Duff’s return, as GNR are scheduled to play 7 shows in South America in April.
