VIDEO: Guns N’ Roses kick off South American tour in Brazil



Guns N’ Roses played their first show of the year when they kicked off a month-long South American tour at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday, and video from the concert is available.

The group were originally scheduled to headline the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival in Feria De Texcoco, Mexico, on March 16, but the event was cancelled.

Guns N’ Roses will debut their 3D concert film, "Appetite For Democracy", in theaters worldwide next month in advance of its release in multiple formats.

The band was captured during their 2012 residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino' in Las Vegas, as they marked the 25th anniversary of their debut, “Appetite For Destruction.”

Directed by Kerry Asmussen and produced by Barry Summers, the project marks the first live concert release from Guns N’ Roses since 1992’s "Use Your Illusion II."
