Wolfgang Van Halen recently marked his 23rd birthday and had an evening out a few days later with his parents, Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli, who is sharing a photo from the occasion.
The Van Halens dined at Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant in Hollywood on Thursday with some friends; Bertinelli tweeted a photo of the gang, writing, “#fun! “@BesoHollywood: Last night at #besohollywood: Happy Birthday, @WolfVanHalen! @Wolfiesmom #eddievanhalen”
Wolfgang officially turned 23 on March 16; the Van Halen instrumental “316” from 1991’s “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” is named for his birthdate.
The Van Halen bassist tweeted a photo of some birthday balloons he received on the 16th, writing, “23, and my parents still treat my birthday like I'm 10. Gotta love 'em... Thanks for all of the birthday wishes!!”
Wolfgang joined Van Halen for their 2007 reunion tour with David Lee Roth, replacing original bassist Michael Anthony.
Reports indicate Van Halen are actively working on a new album, the follow-up to 2012’s “A Different Kind Of Truth.”
