Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd team up for summer tour dates

After a successful run of shows together last year, Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd are teaming up again for a series of summer tour dates across North America.

The two classic rock acts will pair up for a two-week trek starting July 10 in Bangor, Maine before wrapping things up in Detroit on July 25.

"Last year's tour with our friends in Skynyrd was a fantastic time for all," said Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers. "We're looking forward to spending ten dates with them and our fans again this summer."

"We're looking forward to being out on tour with our friends, Bad Company,” added Skynyrd vocalist Johnny Van Zant. “Last year was great! If you want to see good rock n roll, come check this out."

Rodgers recently released “The Royal Sessions”, a collection of classic R&B and soul songs redone by the Bad Company singer.

Skynyrd’s most recent release is 2012’s “Last Of A Dyin’ Breed.”
