Aerosmith classic introduces Los Angeles Kings during NHL Playoffs

Aerosmith’s 1973 classic, “Dream On”, is being used to introduce the Los Angeles Kings to fans at the Staples Center during the team’s current run in the 2014 NHL Playoffs.

The “then-and-now” video montage features several Kings playing hockey both today and as kids.

Telling his own life story soon will be Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, who recently unveiled the cover to his forthcoming memoir, “Rocks: My Life In And Out Of Aerosmith."

Due October 7, Perry worked on the book with author David Ritz, who has written books with B.B. King, Jerry Wexler and Bettye LaVette.

Perry’s memoir follows similar works by bandmates Steven Tyler (2011’s “Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?”) and drummer Joey Kramer’s 2009 book, “Hit Hard: A Story Of Hitting Rock Bottom At The Top.”

Aerosmith are currently on tour across Europe.
