Foreigner and Styx tour buses go up in flames in Philadelphia

Two tour buses used on the Foreigner and Styx on their Soundtrack Of Summer tour caught fire and went up in flames in Philadelphia early Wednesday afternoon.

TMZ reports it is unclear how the fire started, but the news website has learned that one bus caught fire before it spread to the second vehicle.

The buses were parked and NOT occupied when they caught fire; the vehicles are "crew buses" and not buses used by members of either band.

“Thankfully the buses were not occupied,” posted Foreigner. “The Band and Crew are OK.”

The Soundtrack Of Summer tour sees Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder playing shows across the US this summer.

The three acts released a companion CD of the same name to support the run; the package includes a newly-recorded version of The Eagles’ “Hotel California” (which Felder co-wrote) featuring all three artists.

The next scheduled show is set for Thursday in Camden, New Jersey.

The Soundtrack Of Summer tour wraps up July 27 in Santa Barbara, California.
