Foo Fighters tease series of UK club shows

The Foo Fighters are teasing a series of three club shows in the UK ahead of their appearance on Sunday at London's Invictus Games' closing ceremony.

Over the past few days, the band has tweeted hints and news about the dates.

“Michael and Freddy think it would be a shame to just do one show while we're in the UK...” began the series, complete with an image of Queen’s Freddie Mercury and pop icon Michael Jackson on their drum kit.

“Sure missed, let's do 3 club gigs this week...” was the second message, followed by a third that read, "It’s so good to know there’s still a little magic in the air…I’ll weave my spell", along with a reference to the Queen song, “Brighton Rock.”

Further details regarding the club shows will be announced.

The Foo Fighters will release their new album, “Sonic Highways”, on November 10.
