George Harrison tribute week to air on Conan

TBS’s late night show, Conan, will host a week-long musical tribute to mark the release of the new box set, “George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75.”

Hosted by Conan O'Brien, the week of performances will feature some of the biggest names in music, including Beck, Norah Jones, Dhani Harrison & Friends and others.

Conan airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS.

Available on CD and digital download on September 22 (Sep 23 in North America), “George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75” is designed to complement Harrison's 2004 collection, “The Dark Horse Years 1976-92.”

The set spans Harrison's solo work for The Beatles' Apple Records from 1968 to 1975 and features an exclusive DVD with several video pieces, including a new seven-minute film with previously unreleased footage.

The Apple Years box also features an exclusive perfect-bound book with an introduction by Dhani Harrison, new essays by award-winning radio producer and author Kevin Howlett and rare, previously unpublished images.
