Billy Idol performed as part of the pre-game festivities at the 2015 NHL Winter Classic in Washington, D.C. on New Year’s Day.
Idol took to the stage to play classics “Rebel Yell” and “White Wedding”, as well as “Can’t Break Me Down”, the lead track from his latest album, “Kings & Queens Of The Underground.”
The NHL’s annual outdoor event saw the Washington Capitals defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
Idol will launch his 2015 live dates at the House Of Blues in New Orleans on January 21.
This fall, the rocker published his self-written memoir, “Dancing With Myself.”
The autobiography delivers a brutally honest account of his journey to fame – from his early days as frontman of the pioneering UK punk band Generation X to his international solo career.
