Aerosmith to play Pro Football Hall of Fame Concert For Legends

Aerosmith will perform at the Pro Football Hall of Fame's inaugural Concert For Legends.

The August 7 concert at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, OH will pay tribute to the legends of the game on the eve of the Enshrinement for the Class of 2015.

“On behalf of Aerosmith,” says Joe Perry, “we would like to congratulate all of you Hall of Famers, owners, the commissioner of NFL, and of course our hometown team the Patriots. To perform this show for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Hall of Famers is truly a great honour. You only get here by playing the game with all of your heart and soul. So we look forward to honouring all of you with a show that comes from the same place.”

“The Hall is thrilled to have legends of the music world honor the legends of the Game,” adds Hall of Fame President David Baker. “Aerosmith performing in the inaugural Concert for Legends will add even more excitement and energy to an Enshrinement Weekend that kicks off the NFL’s 96th season since its birth in Canton, and the launch to Super Bowl 50.”

Aerosmith fan club Aero Force One has a ticket pre-sale for members starting Tuesday, March 17 at 10am CST.

General public tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 21 at 10am CST.

The Boston rockers recently premiered a new live DVD, “Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014”, in US cinemas.

The package features Aerosmith’s headline performance on June 15, 2014 as they closed the final night of the Download Festival in Donington Park.
