Van Halen premiere Jump from Tokyo Dome Live In Concert

Van Halen are premiering their 1984 hit, “Jump”, as a preview to the March 31 release of “Tokyo Dome Live In Concert.”

The lead single from Van Halen's sixth album, “1984”, delivered the band their first and only US No. 1 hit, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks, leading the album to sales of more than 12 million copies in the States alone.

Van Halen will launch the live album with a special March 30 concert for ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Hollywood Boulevard.

The band’s first U.S. television performance with original lead singer David Lee Roth will be recorded for broadcast over two nights - March 30 and March 31.

Van Halen are also scheduled to perform on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 2.

This week, Van Halen announced dates for an extensive North American tour in support of the live album, which was recorded in Japan in 2013 on the band’s “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour.
