VIDEO: Van Halen soundcheck for Jimmy Kimmel Live performance

Video from Van Halen’s soundcheck for tonight’s appearance on ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live has surfaced.

Drummer Alex Van Halen’s son, Malcolm, is sharing footage of the band’s 1984 hit, “Panama”, from Hollywood Boulevard and a fan has posted a clip of "You Really Got Me" as the group prepares to deliver its first U.S. television performance with original lead singer David Lee Roth as they launch “Tokyo Dome Live In Concert.”

The concert will be recorded for broadcast on the late night show over two nights - March 30 and March 31.

Check out video of rehearsal here.

Van Halen will also perform on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 2.

The band recently announced dates for an extensive North American tour in support of the live album, which was recorded in Japan in 2013 on the group’s “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour.

Just #vanhalen doing sound check around the corner from spot. Ok no big deal.
