Van Halen have expanded their summer tour of North America with the addition of shows in New York and Los Angeles.
In support of their latest release, “Tokyo Dome Live In Concert”, the band will play a third New York-area concert at the Nikon At Jones Beach Theater on Saturday, August 15, as well as a second show at the Hollywood Bowl set for Sunday, October 4.
An American Express presale for the Hollywood Bowl concert will start May 13 at 10 AM PST, while a Live Nation presale for the New York show starts May 17 at 10 AM ET.
General public tickets for both dates will go on sale May 18 at 10 AM local time.
Van Halen will launch the North American tour in Seattle on July 5.
Bassist Wolfgang Van Halen has been sharing video from tour rehearsals as the group works through a series of rarely-played album tracks in preparation for the road.
This Sunday, May 17, Van Halen will perform on the 2015 Billboard Music Awards; the program airs on ABC-TV from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM ET.
