VIDEO: U2 guitarist The Edge falls off stage in Vancouver

U2 guitarist The Edge says he is OK after falling off stage in Vancouver on Thursday during the opening night of the band’s “Innocence + Experience” tour.

While performing the group’s 1987 classic, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, The Edge was walking along the extended catwalk staging across the floor of the Rogers Arena when he wandered over the side, dropping several feet to the floor.

“Didn’t see the edge. I’m ok!!,” the guitarist posted on Instagram after the concert, along with an image of a series of scrapes along his right arm.

U2 are opening the tour in support of 2014's “Songs Of Innocence” with two shows in the Canadian city

Following a serious bicycle injury to Bono last November, the group resurfaced last week for an appearance and performance on The Tonight Show
after postponing a week-long residency due to the accident.

The opening North America leg of the “Innocence + Experience” tour wraps up in late July with a 8-show run at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
