Iron Maiden have issued a promo video for the 2016 The Book Of Souls world tour in support of their new album of the same name.
The trek will open with three concerts in the US in late February before hitting Central America for dates in Mexico, El Salvador and Costa Rica. Shows in South America follow before a return to the States at the end of March for ten more cities and and a two-week run across Canada.
Iron Maiden will then perform in Japan and China before playing dates in New Zealand and Australia and a stop in South Africa, with an extensive summer European leg starting in late May.
The band have announced specific shows for Australia and New Zealand so far, with dates in other territories to be revealed.
The 7-show run – with guests The Raven Age – will open in Christchurch, NZ on April 29 and hit Auckland on May 1 before playing 5 dates in Australia.
Fanclub presales start on September 17, with tickets going onsale to the general public at noon on September 24.
The group’s 16th album, “The Book Of Souls” was recorded in Paris in 2014 and produced by Kevin Shirley.
