AC/DC: Axl Rose spotted at Atlanta rehearsal studio

As rumors swirl that Axl Rose will join AC/DC this year on tour in place of Brian Johnson, new photos of the Guns N’ Roses singer and the band leaving an Atlanta rehearsal studio have surfaced.

TMZ reports they have the first photos – taken last Friday – linking Rose with the Australian rockers; view them at tmz.com

Reports out of Atlanta first surfaced when Rose was spotted on March 18 in front of the Loews Atlanta Hotel by a fan who shared a photo of the chance meeting on Instagram.

A few days later, Atlanta Radio 100.5 DJ Jason Bailey revealed that a "very very good source" told him that Rose will join AC/DC for the remainder of their US tour after meeting with them in the city.

AC/DC postponed the remaining 10 shows on their US tour earlier this month following news that Johnson has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.

On the horizon for AC/DC is a 12-date European tour, which begins May 7 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Last week, Guns N’ Roses confirmed plans for a summer tour of North America by revealing a list of 21 cities they’ll hit along the route, with dates and venues details to follow soon.

The partially reunited band will launch their 2016 dates with two sold-out shows in Las Vegas at the new T-Mobile Arena on April 8 & 9.
