Def Leppard to perform on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America

Def Leppard will perform on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America on June 21.

The appearance lands during the band’s North American summer tour with REO Speedwagon and Tesla, which launches tonight in Pensacola, FL.

The lineup will hit 55 cities across the continent, with dates running into early October.

Several of the early shows on the trek are dates rescheduled by Def Leppard from their winter US tour, which was sidelined recently due to illness.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back out there and playing some great music with some great people for some of the most appreciative audiences in the world,” says vocalist Joe Elliott. “It really is always a pleasure."

Def Leppard are on the road in support of their 2015 self-titled album, which debuted on the US Billboard 200 chart at No. 10 last fall with first-week sales of just over 30,000 units.

Recorded at Elliott's studio in Dublin, Ireland, the project marks the group’s seventh US top 10 album.
