VIDEO: Aerosmith preview European farewell tour

Aerosmith are previewing the European leg of their farewell tour, “Aero-Vederci Baby!”, in a new video featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.

The group have announced the first series of dates for the farewell run, with shows starting May 17 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The summer 2017 trek combines headlining concerts with festival appearances – including UK’s Download, Spain’s Rock Fest, France’s Hellfest, Italy’s Firenze Rocks and the Sweden Rock Festival.

Tickets for the majority of the Aero-Vederci Tour dates will go on sale on November 18; check your local ticket provider for complete details.

The Boston band recently wrapped up their 2016 live dates with a month-long tour of South America.

Ahead of the 2017 dates, Perry will be honored with the Les Paul Award at the 32nd Annual NAMM TEC Awards on January 21 as part of the 2017 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, CA.

The annual award is given on behalf of the Les Paul Foundation and honors individuals that have set the highest standards of excellence in the creative application of recording technology in the spirit of the famed audio pioneer, inventor and musician, Les Paul.

"Anytime my name is mentioned in the same sentence as Les Paul, it’s a huge honor,” says Perry. “Getting an award bearing his name is the icing on the cake."
