Deep Purple and Judas Priest team up for North American tour

Deep Purple and Judas Priest are teaming up for a co-headlining tour of North America.

The 5-week, late summer run will begin in Cincinnati, OH on August 21 and hit 25 cities across the US and Canada before wrapping up in Wheatland, CA on September 30.

Deep Purple are on the road playing dates on their “inFinite – The Long Goodbye Tour.” The trek is named after the band’s 2017 set, “inFinite”, which they recorded in Nashville, TN with producer Bob Ezrin.

Judas Priest recently released their eighteenth album, “Firepower.” The project landed the veteran metal outfit their highest-charting US album with its debut at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, while also scoring their first UK Top 10 album in 38 years with a No. 5 entry on the Offical Charts.

A Citi cardmember presale for the 2018 tour runs Tuesday, April 24 at 10 AM local time until Thursday, April 26 at 10 PM local time through Citi’s Private Pass program.

General public seats will go on sale Friday, April 27 at 10 AM local time at LiveNation.com.
