Alice In Chains: Jerry Cantrell announces Los Angeles solo show

Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell will play a solo show at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles, CA on December 7.

"I will be accompanied by some cool friends performing songs you might expect, others I haven’t played in quite a while and maybe even one or two that I never have,” says the guitarist on social media. “Should be a lot of fun, hope to see you there."

The venue bills itself as “a multi-faith cultural arts center that strives to invigorate the community of Los Angeles through song, story, art and activism.”

Tickets for the rare concert event will go on sale Wednesday, October 9 at 10 AM here.

Cantrell has led Alice In Chains through six studio albums since their 1987 formation in Seattle, WA; the rocker’s solo records include 1998’s “Boggy Depot” and 2002’s “Degradation Trip.”

Last month, the band wrapped up a world tour in support of 2018’s “Rainier Fog” with a hometown concert at the city’s WaMu Theater.
