Ozzy Osbourne reunites with Post Malone on new track It’s A Raid

Ozzy Osbourne reunites with Post Malone on “It’s A Raid”, a track from his new album, “Ordinary Man.”

The song marks the rocker’s second collaboration with the rapper, following their work on the single, "Take What You Want" – which first appeared on Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding” set and is included as a bonus track on Osbourne’s twelfth studio album.

As Rolling Stone notes, Osbourne shared the story behind the pounding rock track during a recent SiriusXM listening party and Q&A session for “Ordinary Man.”

In 1972, while Black Sabbath were recording “Vol. 4” near Bel Air, CA, the police swarmed the band’s residence after Osbourne accidentally hit a button that triggered an alarm; at the time, there were piles of marijuana and cocaine out in the house.

“I’m shouting, ‘IT’S A F**KIN’ RAIIIIID,” explained Osbourne, recalling that he swept as much cocaine as he could into a container, retreated to the bathroom and then snorted it until the police left.

“I didn’t sleep for four days after that,” he added.

Due February 21, Ozzy’s first new studio release in a decade sees him teamed with producer and guitarist Andrew Watt and includes the rhythm section of Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith; special guests on the record include Slash, Elton John and Tom Morello.
