Iron Maiden, Whitesnake and Evanescence members jam 1973 classic Live And Let Die

Members of Iron Maiden, Whitesnake and Evanescence are streaming video of a brief jam version of the 1973 Paul McCartney And Wings classic, “Live And Let Die.”

The footage is part of a series entitled “1 minute jammms”, organized by Evanescence guitarist Jen Majura – who also handles vocals on this track.

“Please give it up for this week's phenomenal 1min jammers: Iron Maiden's very own Nicko McBrain on drums and Whitesnake's Joel Hoekstra on guitar!,” says Majura. “We gathered digitally to jam the ultimate '73 classic ‘Live And Let Die’ for you - hope you'll enjoy!”

The theme song for the James Bond film of the same name was a Top 5 hit in several countries and reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while selling more than a million copies in the region.

Iron Maiden cancelled their full touring plans for the year and rescheduled shows to 2021 due to the pandemic, while Whitesnake also shut down their live schedule as David Coverdale revealed plans to undergo hernia surgery; Evanescence recently released their new single, “Use My Voice.”
