Axl Rose performs Guns N’ Roses classics with Carrie Underwood

Axl Rose performed a pair of Guns N’ Roses classics with Carrie Underwood during the country music star’s April 30 set at the Stagecoach music festival in Indio, CA.

Decked out in a GNR shirt, Underwood and her band launched into “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and made it through the first chorus before the singer told the crowd: "Welcome to the greatest night of my life. Give it up for Axl Rose!", as the rocker appeared on stage to deliver the 1987 smash.

Once the song was over, Underwood’s band kicked into “Paradise City” as she said “You thought we were finished?”

Underwood – who has long shared her fandom of Rose and his inspiration and influence on her development as a singer – was still on cloud nine the day after the event.

“Best. Night. Of. My. Life!!!,” shared Underwood on social media. “I am still freaking out!!! Thank you, Axl, for making this lifelong dream come true!!! You rocked that Stagecoach Festival stage harder than anyone has ever rocked it before!”

Guns N’ Roses will next be seen performing at Daytona Beach, FL’s Welcome To Rockville festival on May 21 before the group open a summer European tour in Lisbon, Portugal on June 4.
