Ozzy Osbourne thanks fans for support following major surgery

Ozzy Osbourne has issued his first statement following major surgery on June 13 to remove and realign pins in his neck and back.

"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably,” shared Ozzy on social media. “I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery."

A 2019 fall at his Los Angeles home aggravated years-old back and shoulder injuries from a 2003 ATV accident and led to neck surgery that added further complications.

Ozzy has previously revealed that the first surgery left him unable to walk properly and the need to have daily physical therapy.

Sharon Osbourne recently said the 2022 operation would “determine the rest of his life”; the couple are planning to move back to the UK where they have applied for permission for a "rehabilitation" wing at his historic Grade II listed home in Buckinghamshire that will include a number of features to make life more comfortable and safe for the 73-year-old music icon.
