Pearl Jam announce rescheduled Apollo Theater show

Pearl Jam will play Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater on September 10 in a special invitation-only concert as part of SiriusXM’s Small Stage Series.

The event - originally scheduled for March 2020 and planned around the release of Pearl Jam’s 2020 album, “Gigaton” – will mark the band’s first appearance at the iconic venue and double as the first US date of a fall North American tour.

The concert will air live on the group’s exclusive SiriusXM channel, Pearl Jam Radio (ch. 22).

Currently playing dates on a European tour, Pearl Jam have just released an expanded version of their 2020 album; billed as “Gigaton (Tour Edition)”, the project mixes the original studio album with a disc of live recordings of the material from the band’s 2021 tour.

In sync with the Apollo Theater news and the new live package, Pearl Jam are sharing a video for the “Gigaton” track “Quick Escape.” Directed by famed director Samuel Bayer (Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie), the clip features Bayer’s son Ziggy as well as stunts by famed stuntman Eddie Braun.
