The series – in support of their 2020 album, “Power Up” – will open in mid-May with a pair of shows in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and play multiple nights in Munich, Vienna and London, with events currently scheduled into August.
AC/DC last performed in October at the Power Trip festival in California, where they were joined by drummer Matt Laug; now, the group reveal the latest addition to its touring lineup following the retirement of bassist Clifff Williams.
"We are thrilled to finally announce the 'Power Up' European Tour. Angus, Brian, Stevie, and Matt will be joined by Chris Chaney to carry the torch for Cliff," says the band. "The tour will see us play shows across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France & Ireland this Summer. We can't wait to see you all out there. Tickets on sale Feb 16."
Launched with the lead single, “Shot In The Dark”, “Power Up” debuted at No. 1 in more than 20 countries – including the US and UK, among others – while also enjoying a four-week run atop the Australian charts.
