“Second shows have been added in Dresden, Hannover, and Seville,” says the band. “Dresden and Hannover on sale now, Seville on sale Feb 20.”
News of the scheduling update arrived the same day AC/DC put tickets on sale for the summer series, which will open will open in mid-May with a pair of shows in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
AC/DC last completed a full tour in 2016 when Axl Rose stepped in to handle vocals while Brian Johnson dealt with hearing loss issues as a result of an incident while racing (one of his passions outside of music) at the 2008 Watkins Glen International.
The iconic band last performed in October at the Power Trip festival in California, where they were joined by drummer Matt Laug and longtime bassist Cliff Williams; the 2024 tour sees Laug anchoring the rhythm section alongside new touring member (and former Jane’s Addiction bassist) Chris Chaney.
“Power Up” debuted at No. 1 in more than 20 countries – including the US and UK, among others – while also enjoying a four-week run atop the Australian charts.
