Judas Priest debut Invincible Shield on US charts

Judas Priest has debuted its new album, “Invincible Shield”, on the US charts.

According to Billboard, the band’s 19th studio record enters the Billboard 200 at No. 18.

The project was produced by Andy Sneap, who previously oversaw 2018’s “Firepower”, which delivered Judas Priest its highest-charting US album when it debuted at No. 5 on the same chart.

In other regions, “Invincible Shield” topped the album charts in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, and snagged Top 5 spots in Ireland, Japan and France – while delivering the highest UK chart position in the band’s history when it entered the Official Albums Chart at No. 2.

Judas Priest are currently playing dates on a UK and European tour in support of the new album.
