Van Halen brought their “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour to St. Paul, MN on Saturday.
It was the band’s first show since the postponement of 31 dates of a recently-announced US summer tour, played just hours before Van Halen released a video of David Lee Roth explaining the reasons behind the change in plans.
The group had recently settled back in to a stable setlist, after keeping fans guessing by randomly mixing some rarities in the show.
That changed Saturday, when Van Halen broke out their 1980 track, “And The Cradle Will Rock,” for the first time this tour.
The group plays shows to June 26 in New Orleans, following which they’ll take a break for an unannounced length of time.
