Sammy Hagar to play Washington Nationals postgame concert



Sammy Hagar will play a Washington Nationals postgame concert following the team’s August 29th home game against the Miami Marlins.

The Nationals/Marlins game begins at 7:05pm and Sammy will take the stage for the free concert approximately 15 minutes after the final out.

To attend, you must have a valid ticket for that day’s game.

The Red Rocker is making the rounds to promote the September 24th release of his new album, “Sammy Hagar & Friends”.

His first solo project in five years sees Hagar team up with a variety of artists, including Kid Rock, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn), Neal Schon (Journey, HSAS), Chickenfoot pals Chad Smith, Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani; Montrose bandmates Bill Church and Denny Carmassi, his solo band The Wabos and more on a collection of 10 new songs and unexpected covers.

The record will be available in a standard edition package, as well as deluxe edition packaged in a high-gloss digipak.

The deluxe CD/DVD package includes an exclusive bonus audio track, "Space Station #5", recorded live at the Ronnie Montrose Tribute Concert held on April 29, 2012 in San Francisco, as well as the "making-of" album documentary which includes bonus video of "Knockdown Dragout", and more.
