KISS: Paul Stanley releasing autobiography in 2014

KISS frontman Paul Stanley will publish his autobiography, “Face The Music: A Life Exposed”, two weeks after the group are inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame next April.

A few details about the book were issued Tuesday following the Rock Hall announcement.

Due April 22, “Face The Music: A Life Exposed” is a 432-page memoir of Stanley and his rise to global success with KISS, which he co-founded in January of 1973 with bassist Gene Simmons from the ashes of the pair’s previous band, Wicked Lester.

Publisher HarperOne revealed the book will feature rare photographs and candid memories about Stanley’s wild life with KISS.

On April 10, KISS will be inducted into the Rock Hall along with Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt.

The ceremony will be held at New York’s Barclays Center, marking the first time the general public will be able to attend the ceremony in NYC.

Tickets will go on sale to the public in January, with a pre-sale for members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum starting at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31.

HBO will record the event for broadcast in May.
