Finalists for the 16th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2025 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 24.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 8: DAVID GILMOUR
In September, David Gilmour streamed video of the track, “Between Two Points” – featuring a collaboration with his daughter Romany – as a preview to the concert film, “Live At The Circus Maximus, Rome.”
The project captures the guitarist live at the venue at the beginning of a 2024 tour in support of his fifth solo album, “Luck And Strange.”
The concert film will be shown in cinemas and IMAX venues worldwide and also released on 2 Blu-Ray and 3 DVD sets with bonus unseen footage, while the companion album – “The Luck and Strange Concerts” – would be available in multiple formats.
