Chickenfoot on Rockline Jan 12

Next Wednesday, Chickenfoot join host Bob Coburn as the guests on his nationally-syndicated radio show, “Rockline.”

This should be interesting, as we can expect an update on what’s up in the ‘Foot camp these days.

The band has been planning to get in the studio this month to work on their sophomore disc knowing, well in advance, that drummer Chad Smith won’t be available to tour due to his schedule this year with The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Singer Sammy Hagar has been doing a few shows lately, and will be plugging his new autobiography, “RED: My Uncensored Life In Rock,” due to be published in March; Guitarist Joe Satriani has just completed a 2-month tour of Europe and North America in support of “Black Swans & Wormhole Wizards”; bassist Michael Anthony made an appearance at the KLOS Mark & Brian Christmas concert as part of the All-Star Band, playing with Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Paul Rodgers, Peter Frampton, Steve Lukather and Jason Bonham; and Chad Smith has been recording with the Peppers while plugging another side project, The Bombastic Meatbats.

Tune in to your local Rockline station Wednesday, January 12 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET; during the show, fans can call-in and speak with Chickenfoot by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).
