On Wednesday, Bach rocked Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with a live rendition of “We Are The Ducks,” a power ballad/fight song for the University Of Oregon Ducks – designed to inspire the team to victory against Auburn University at the BCS Championship game on Monday (tonight); on Thursday night, Fallon debuted the official video version of the song, featuring an outstanding performance by Bach.
By Friday, Bach had an invite to appear at the Ducks’ Pep Rally in Arizona on Sunday, the day before the big game, as well as tickets to the game itself.
Reports say the hour-long event was attended by thousands of Oregon fans, and outdrew the Auburn rally earlier in the day.
Bach’s "We Are The Ducks" – put together by Jimmy Fallon – has given the Ducks some major national attention and maybe, just maybe, a boost of confidence heading into the big game.
“Every team has a fight song, but only one has a power ballad…and that’s the Ducks,” said Bach in an interview with the Statesman Journal.
