Motley Crue: Girlfriend worried about Vince Neil’s health in jail

Vince Neil is nearing the halfway point of his two-week jail sentence for a DUI bust in Las Vegas last June, and his girlfriend is, understandably, worried about the Motley Crue rocker while he’s behind bars.

"I'm extremely concerned about his health,"
Alicia Jacobs, entertainment reporter for KSNV-TV, told Norm Clarke at the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The LVRJ reports Jacobs said she's worried about Neil because he's lost his appetite, and isn't sleeping because of kitchen duty that requires a 3:30 a.m. wakeup.

"He's not eating much other than peanut butter, Doritos and stuff like that," Jacobs said. "He had a baloney sandwich one day. It's not optimal conditions."

He volunteered for jail duties in hopes it will reduce his sentence. As a result, he's serving breakfast to his 4,000 fellow inmates every morning starting at 4 a.m., lunch at 10 a.m. and dinner at 4 p.m., in addition to mopping and vacuuming floors and cleaning showers.

Following the end of his short jail stay, Vince faces two weeks of house arrest as part of his plea deal with Las Vegas prosecutors.
