Foo Fighters: Dave Grohl talks touring with Motorhead

We all know Dave Grohl loves his Motorhead.

Grohl was featured showing his love for the metal legends in the recent Motorhead documentary, "Lemmy: 49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son Of A Bitch."

That’s why the Foo Fighters frontman is psyched to have Lemmy and company join the Foos for some US dates in May.

The Foo/Motorhead bill kicks off May 17 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and runs until May 26 in Missoula, Montana.

"We're going to do some shows with Motorhead...unfortunately we have to go on after them," Grohl told MTV.com. "We actually played with Motorhead at Hyde Park once, and Lemmy's a good friend, and Phil [Campbell] the guitar player, too. They're just fun to be around, and they're legends, and I'm a huge Motorhead fan, so it's an honor to have them come out and do gigs."

(Hey, who knew MTV was still interested in covering music?)
