VIDEO: Eddie Vedder pays tribute to Clarence Clemons on Letterman

One June 15h, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder takes his solo show on the road for a month-long U.S. tour in support of “Ukelele Songs.”

Things kick off in Providence, Rhode Island and run to a July 15 finale at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall. Special guest Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) will join Vedder on the road.

Eddie stopped by David Letterman’s show Monday night to play “Without You” from the new disc.

Vedder offered a tribute to E Street Band member Clarence Clemons with the late sax legend’s first name painted across the front of his ukele; Clemons passed away last Saturday following complications from a stroke at his Florida home a week earlier.
