As part of the 2011 hennemusic Rock News Awards – recognizing the biggest rock news stories and artists of the year - hennemusic has been counting down the Top 10 rock news stories of the year.

The Top 10 are determined by music fans: numbers are based on page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.

Motley Crue/Poison 2011 Tour dates




Monday’s announcement that Motley Crue and Poison would tour together this summer has been great news for fans of both bands, who can now see them together for the first time.

Opening the shows will be the legendary New York Dolls.

The Crue’s Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee were joined by the Dolls’ David Johansen for the official tour announcement.




Tickets will be available to Motley Crue fan club members beginning March 11, and a national on sale starts the weekend of March 18.
