Van Halen: David Lee Roth in Japan promoting fall tour


This week, Van Halen officially confirmed that they’ll play three concerts in Japan this November in support of their latest album, “A Different Kind Of Truth.”

The group announced two concerts in Osaka (November 20 & 22) and a show in Tokyo on November 27 – the band posted their tour dates here.

Rumors regarding a November 29 concert date in Nagoya have yet to be officially confirmed.

The latest information regarding the band’s journey to the Far East comes from the Van Halen News Desk, who report that frontman David Lee Roth is currently in Japan doing promotions for the upcoming Van Halen dates.

The fan website also says Roth is sword training with a Shungendo monk, Sueyoshi Akeshi.

There’s been no official reports or word from the band on the latest VHND news.
