Nirvana release director’s cut of Heart-Shaped Box video

Nirvana have released the director’s cut of their 1983 video for “Heart-Shaped Box” as part of the upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of “In Utero”, due September 23 (September 24 in North America).

The director’s cut of the Anton Corbijn-directed video appeared on Corbijn’s Director’s Series DVD, though it has never officially been available online – until now.

The clip is part of the DVD portion of the new “In Utero” package, a multi-format release of the Seattle band’s final album that spreads more than 70 remastered, remixed, rare, unreleased and live recordings over configurations ranging from a 3-CD/1-DVD Super Deluxe Edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album.

Material exclusive to the various versions of the "In Utero" 20th-anniversary reissue will include a veritable treasure trove of never-before-heard demos, B-sides and compilation tracks – for a full tracklist, click here.

Below are both versions of the "Heart-Shaped Box" video - the director's cut and the original.
