California Breed release lyric video for Midnight Oil

California Breed - the new band formed by Jason Bonham and Glenn Hughes from the ashes of supergroup Black Country Communion - have released a lyric video for the track, “Midnight Oil.”

Joined by guitarist Andrew Watt, the tune will appear on the group’s self-titled debut album, due May 20.

Produced by Dave Cobb (Jamey Johnson, Rival Sons, Shooter Jennings), “California Breed” was recorded at Cobb's Nashville studio and features equal co-writing credits among the three-man lineup.

The band recently released the video for the lead single, “Sweet Tea” – check it out here.

Formed in 2009, Black Country Communion – which also featured Joe Bonamassa and Derek Sherinian – shut things down early last year after releasing three studio albums and a live recording.
