Aerosmith mark 25th anniversary of Pump on In The Studio

Aerosmith are marking the 25th anniversary of their 1989 release, “Pump”, on the latest edition of North American rock radio series In The Studio.

All five members of the band join host Redbeard to discuss the album, which featured hits like “Love In An Elevator”, “Janie’s Got A Gun”, “What It Takes” and “The Other Side.”

“Pump” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 on its way to sales of more than 7 million copies in the States alone, tying it with 1993’s “Get A Grip” as Aerosmith's second best-selling studio album in the U.S. (1975’s “Toys In The Attic” leads with 8 million).

Aerosmith are winding down the North American leg of the Let Rock Rule tour, which wraps up in Sydney, Nova Scotia on September 12.
