VIDEO: Pearl Jam kick off fall US tour in Cincinnati

Pearl Jam kicked off a fall US tour in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday, and fan-filmed video from opening night is available.

The band’s 34-song, 3-hour plus set opened with “Pendulum” from their current album, “Lightning Bolt”, before exploring tracks from their lengthy catalog.

The evening saw the Seattle rockers perform a 19-song main set that included a cover of The Rolling Stones’ 1981 tune, “Waiting On A Friend.”

A first encore delivered 9 songs before paving the way for a second one of 6, including covers of classics by The Who ("The Real Me") and Neil Young (“Rockin’ In The Free World”).

Pearl Jam’s fall US run will wrap up in Denver, Colorado on October 22nd.

The band will then perform at Neil Young’s 28th Annual Bridge School Benefit concerts in California.

The October 25/26 weekend event at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View will see appearances by Soundgarden, Florence + The Machine, Tom Jones, Norah Jones, Band Of Horses and additional guests.
