Motley Crue release single and announce final farewell tour dates

Motley Crue have released a video for a new single, “All Bad Things”, and announced the final North American dates of their farewell tour.

The band wrote and recorded the song last spring before launching the tour in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 2.

Motley Crue resume the farewell trek with shows in Japan next month before hitting Australia and New Zealand in the spring; in June, they’ll play three European festivals including Download (UK), Sweden Rock and Austria’s Novarock before returning to North America for a summer run with special guest Alice Cooper.

“In some of the cities,” says bassist Nikki Sixx, “we could only reach a fraction of the fans who wanted to come see us play last year because of ticket demand, so we’re coming back to those places to bring them our full production including the Crüecifly drum coaster, as well as all pyro and every other bell and whistle.”

“Even despite the overwhelming fan demand, we can only add so many new cities in North America because of our commitment to take the Final Tour global on our final year.”

Summer dates begin July 22 in Eugene, Oregon and wrap September 6 in San Antonio, Texas, following which the group will play two shows in Mexico; a series of Las Vegas concerts (to be announced) will follow with the Crue playing their final show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 31.

The band’s exclusive VIP Packages (including opportunities to meet band members, exclusive merchandise and more) and Fan Club pre-sales for these dates start Wednesday, January 21 at 10 AM EST, with a special Citicard member pre-sale beginning at 5 PM, EST the same day.

Local pre-sales start this Thursday, January 22 at 10 AM local time before the public on-sale begins on Friday, January 23 at 10 AM local time; some dates (including the band’s Final New Year’s Eve performance) will be going on sale this Saturday, January 24 at 10 AM local time.

The band will perform on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, January 22.

Motley Crue were named the No. 4 Rock News Artist Of The Year and delivered the No. 6 Rock News Story Of The Year as part of the 5th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards.
