The Cult have announced dates for a spring tour of North America in support of their forthcoming album “Hidden City.”
The 20-plus "Alive In The Hidden City" run begins next month with four US dates – a pair each in New York and Los Angeles – following which the band will perform an extensive UK tour and return the North America for a month of concerts starting with a March 18 appearance at SXSW in Austin, TX.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday, January 15 at the usual outlets.
Due February 5, “Hidden City” sees The Cult working once again with producer Bob Rock, who they teamed with for 1989’s “Sonic Temple”, 1994’s self-titled album, 2001’s “Beyond Good And Evil” and 2012’s ”Choice Of Weapon.”
The set has been previewed with the tracks “Dark Energy”, “Deeply Ordered Chaos” and “Hinterland.”
