Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton announce summer tour



Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton have announce dates for a summer US tour.

The pair are teaming up for a series of 12 shows starting June 3 in Albany, NY, with seven concerts confirmed for June and another five set for August.

A Citi Card member presale starts March 15 at 10 AM EDT, while a Live Nation mobile app presale starts March 16 at 10 AM EDT.

General public seats will go on sale March 18 at Noon EDT.

Frampton has just released “Acoustic Classics”, a project that sees the guitarist deliver reinvented, unplugged versions of many of his best-known songs and one brand new tune, "All Down To Me."

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s latest studio release is 2012’s “Last Of A Dyin’ Breed.” The band have issued several live packages in recent years, including the 2CD/DVD set “One More For The Fans” and “Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin'nérd & Second Helping – Live From Jacksonville At The Florida Theatre.”

As part of the 2015 hennemusic Rock News Awards, Lynyrd Skynyrd were named the No. 5 Rock News Artist Of The Year while also delivering the No. 6 Rock News Story of The Year.
