Ozzy Osbourne to perform with Post Malone at American Music Awards

Ozzy Osbourne has announced plans to join rapper Post Malone for a performance of their track, “Take What You Want”, at the 2019 American Music Awards in Los Angeles this weekend.

The single from Malone’s recently-released album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”, debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 to deliver Osbourne his first US Top 10 appearance in more than three decades; the album currently sits at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Singing on “Take What You Want” via producer Andrew Watt led to Osbourne working with the guitarist on a new album, “Ordinary Man”, which features guest appearances by Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith; the project is due in January.

The 2019 American Music Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Malone has been actively supporting rockers since his arrival on the scene, including performances with Aerosmith at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
